How to Make an Appointment

Appointments can be face to face or on the telephone.

We have both pre-bookable appointments and same-day appointments available, as well as access to booking extended hours appointments in the evenings and at weekends, these may be at another venue, as the appointments are delivered by our Federation and shared with other practices.

To arrange an appointment, please call us on 01509 410800, or pop in to the surgery (please remember to wear a mask) or you may use the 'contact us online' tab on the home page of this website.

You will be asked for a reason for the appointment when you contact us, this is to assist our patient Co-ordinators in directing you to the appropriate Health Professional. This also helps us to prioritise urgent problems, and reduces the waiting time for appointments.

Home Visits

Please request home visits only when medically unable to attend the surgery. Whenever possible telephone between 08:30 and 11:30 to make your request.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.

If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.

You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.
