YOUNG VOICES ON HEALTHCARE
Let’s hear your voice – tell us your experiences and feelings about local health care
If you are one of the 222,000 young people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland aged 11-25 years old, the local health service wants to hear from you.
Children and young people are experiencing the world very differently from how adults experienced it in their youth. Health care has also changed a lot and so has the way it is provided.
The local NHS and other care services want to understand what the needs of young people are right now, so they can improve services and how they are designed.
Get involved and share your views before Sunday 3 March 2024:
Fill out a questionnaire by visiting: ly/youngvoicesonhealth
- Follow our social channels: @NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland
@NHS_LLR
Instagram: @NHSLLR
- Email llricb-llr.beinvolved@nhs.net
- Request a hard copy of the questionnaire by calling 0116 295 7532 or emailing: llricb-llr.beinvolved@nhs.net
- Or simply scan our QR code!
This is the first large scale engagement of its type involving 11-25 year olds – be a part of it and have your voice heard!
We also want to hear from families of people who are 11-25 years old and NHS and healthcare staff providing services to young people – to get involved, visit: bit.ly/youngvoicesonhealth

REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS
Please note that from 31st August we will no longer be accepting repeat prescription requests by telephone.
Requests can be submitted to us online via Patient access or the NHS App. Please follow the link for more information
https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/about-the-nhs-app/
If you prefer, you can place your repeat prescription or a written request inside the black letterbox in the porch. Please allow 5-7 days before collecting your medication from the pharmacy. Some pharmacies send a text notification to patients when their medication is ready for collection.
The reason for this change, is to free up our phone lines so that patients who are unwell are not faced with long waits when contacting the surgery by telephone. This makes sense when there are so many quick and convenient methods of ordering prescriptions. Previously, we'd accepted requests via telephone during the pandemic due to patients having to isolate, but thankfully, this is no longer necessary.
We appreciate your understanding and co-operation.
Our telephone issue is now resolved 17.00pm.
-----------------------------------------------
Please note: We have a fault with our telephone system.
If your problem is URGENT, please call 111 or 999 for life threatening emergencies.
Out telephone provider is working hard to resolve this problem. We hope to be up and running as soon as possible.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused
